However, the cooling-off period will immediately cease to apply if (i) Subscriber has collected any premium; or (ii) completion of installation.

Yes. You can select the “Service Commencement Date” for the Home Broadband Service, and the service will start from the chosen date. However, please note that this date must be within 365 days of the service installation date. Customers are required to determine the “Service Commencement Date” before the service installation takes place. Once confirmed, the service contract will come into effect from this date. Please be aware that the relevant service will not be available from the completion of installation until the “Service Commencement Date”.

• Insufficient computer hard disk storage space and CPU speed, which may result in CPU overload and slower internet access;
• Running multiple programs simultaneously;
• Multiple users connecting to the same server to download the same data simultaneously, causing delayed response and impacting internet speed;
• When using a USB port for broadband network connection, resource sharing (e.g., connecting a printer to the USB port) can reduce network speed. We recommend using an Ethernet card for broadband network connection;
• Internet access speed can be affected when using wireless routers, broadband sharers, and other devices to connect multiple devices to the internet simultaneously.
• If the problem persists or you are not using a router, we recommend switching to a different browser (such as Edge/Firefox/Chrome/IE) and using a different device (such as another computer/mobile phone/tablet) to perform a speed test.
